This page explains what data is collected on artsyelize.com, why, and how to exercise your rights under GDPR.

Who runs this site

This website is operated by Elize (Artsy Elize), a digital artist based in Belgium. For privacy questions, contact artsyelize@gmail.com.

What data is collected

Contact form: when you submit the form, your name, email address, and message are sent to my email inbox so I can reply. The submission is processed via a Cloudpage notification service. Form submissions are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which collects technical signals (IP address, device info, behaviour signals) to detect spam.

Analytics: if you accept analytics cookies, anonymised page views and session data are collected via Google Analytics (with IP anonymisation enabled). No personally identifying information is sent.

Cookies: only strictly necessary cookies are set by default. Analytics cookies are set only after explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can update your choices at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.

Why this data is collected

To respond to your messages (legitimate interest, contractual necessity), to keep the site secure and spam-free (legitimate interest), and to understand which content is useful when you opt in (your consent).

How long it is kept

Form submissions live in my email inbox until I no longer need them for our conversation. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention (14 months unless changed).

Who else sees it

Form delivery uses Cloudpage's notification service. Analytics uses Google. reCAPTCHA uses Google. None of these parties receive more than is technically necessary to perform their function.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email artsyelize@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Belgium: gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
